About Tabatière Royale

Tabatière Royale is an independent site devoted to a single family of e-liquids, the classics. Dry blonds, deep dark blends, nutty or vanilla classics: for each one we describe how it tastes, how intense it is, the kit that brings it out and where it sits in its range.

What we publish

Tasting notes and practical guides. The specifications we quote (PG/VG ratio, bottle sizes, nicotine strengths on offer) come from manufacturers' own pages or from the retailers that list them, and we would rather say that a detail is missing than guess it.

We talk about flavour, never about cigarettes. A classic is described by its notes (dried leaf, cereal, wood, hazelnut, vanilla), its texture and its intensity, not by what it might imitate.

Who writes it

Every note is written by Édouard Vallin, who follows classic e-liquids and the ranges that define them. He uses the same vocabulary from one note to the next, so that two notes can always be compared.

Our independence

Tabatière Royale is not paid by any manufacturer for what it writes. Affiliate links may exist and never shape the content, and sponsored content, when there is any, is always labelled as such.

UK readers

Our English pages are written with the United Kingdom in mind. Nicotine e-liquids sold in the UK follow the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations 2016, which cap nicotine strength at 20 mg/ml and nicotine refill bottles at 10 ml, so the formats quoted by French sources may differ from what is on sale here.
